Lassen Sie Mich Ihnen Zeigen, Wie Mein Blog Geld Verdient
Posted on July 29, 2008
Thanks to everyone who replied with such positive feedback about the Conversion Blogging video and the interview with Alborz, a million dollar blogger. It’s been truly overwhelming how many messages I’ve received plus there’s nearly 200 comments made to my blog in reply to the content, and it’s not even a week since I released it!
What I’m most happy about is how inspired you all sound and how you are ready to take your blogging seriously. If I can help a few more people realize the full time income from a blog dream, then I consider it job well done.
But we’re not finished yet!
How Does A Blog Make Money?
Next I have two videos, which are not quite as long as the previous videos, but definitely as compelling and full of great tips to help you make more from blogging.
Both videos are completely free and take you behind the scenes of this blog. The first shows you how I make money and the second shows how much I make. You can view the practical implementation and the financial outcome as a result.
These two videos should help demystify ambiguity you might be experiencing regarding how a blog like mine can make $10,000+ a month. Here are the videos…
Please reply with comments and let me know what you think of the videos.
Blog Mastermind Opens This Tuesday at 10 AM
By now you should well and truly realize that I’m not just giving away these videos because I can (well, I am in some ways… it is gratifying to see my work benefit people regardless of financial outcomes for me).
I’ve distributed all of this great content in part because I want to convince you to come work with me in my blog coaching program, Blog Mastermind.
I showed you some of the concepts I teach with Conversion Blogging and the Blog Profits Blueprint. I brought Alborz on stage to demonstrate that other, normal people just like you, can do this if you stick to it long enough to realize success. Today I’m showing you how I do it and giving you proof of what I earn.
All I want you to do in return is consider whether what I’ve shown you has been helpful and if so, whether more training of this quality, delivered in a structured format and all nicely packaged in a friendly community environment, is something you would like to take part in.
My coaching program opens on Tuesday July 29th - that’s this Tuesday. I’m aiming for a 10 AM EST USA time opening.
We should make that deadline, but of course I’ll let you know if there are delays. We have a couple of tests to run Monday and if they go okay, we will be good to go on Tuesday.
You might be wondering whether there will be a time limit or a limited number of spaces in the program. Let me put your mind at ease - I’m not closing the doors this time, nor will I be capping the number of people who can become members.
I will have some fast-action bonuses for the first 100 people who sign up, thus demonstrating their eagerness to participate (I like to reward the eager beavers with extra goodies). However, if you live on the other side of the world (Hi Australia - I miss you - I’ll be back soon!) or for whatever reason you can’t get to a computer when the doors open, don’t worry, you won’t miss out.
Get to a computer when you can and you will still be able to join my program.
How Much Will Blog Mastermind Cost?
The program is six months worth of training plus a members resources area and online community. You can participate in two ways -
Option 1: Pay $97 for the first month, try it and if you like it, continue to pay $97 a month for six months total. You will have immediate access to the member resources and online community and receive one lesson per week until you graduate in six months.
Option 2: Pay $497 upfront, save yourself $85 and get access to all the materials at once. You get instant downloads for all the lessons, the member resources and access to the online community.
There’s also a third “all you can eat” option, where you get all of the Blog Mastermind content (all of option 2 above) PLUS my second course, Membership Site Mastermind (currently not available to the public), which is my coaching program for people who want to start a membership site using a blog as a launch pad. You can get instant access to both these programs for the one time fee of $1497.
The sign-up page will break down every tiny detail about my coaching program, so bookmark the page below and on Tuesday you will be able to see all the details and join the program -
http://www.blogmastermind.com/coaching/
That’s it from me, enjoy the videos and get ready to begin your training with me from Tuesday onwards.

Big Issue?
Big Issue?
Big Issue?
If you’ve ever wandered around an UK town for more than half and hour you’re certain to have come across someone standing on the pavement holding something and shouting (sometimes just dejectedly saying):
Big Issue?
Big Issue?
Big Issue?
If you’ve bothered to look at them as you rush past you’ll have noticed it’s a magazine that they are holding, you might even notice, or guess that the magazine is called “The Big Issue”. But do you know what the magazine is about? Do you know why you might want to buy it? Do you know why the salesperson is (probably) so scruffy?
No? Well that’s not surprising really is it? After all, all he has done is shout the product name at you:
Big Issue?
Big Issue?
Big Issue?
He hasn’t made any attempt to engage you in a relationship (people buy from people they like), nor has he explained to you what the benefits of the Big Issue are and addressed the WIIFM (What’s In It For Me) factor and explained what you would get out of buying it.
Now ask yourself, is my sales technique any better? Is that of my staff any better? If not, then it’s time to take a long hard look at your sales process from your customers point of view, not yours. How can you quickly and politely communicate the benefit of your product/service to the customer? How can you build a relationship with your customer? Believe me even if they’re just rushing past on the street it’s possible.
Selling the right way, doesn’t have to be a Big Issue!
Please don’t get me wrong, I don’t intend this to be a negative criticism of either the Big Issue or it’s sellers. I really admire the homeless people that have chosen to take a positive step to improve their situation by selling the Big Issue and I encourage you to buy a copy next time your offered one. If you’d like to find out more about The Big Issue and how it helps the homeless, please visit The Big Issue Foundation’s website.

Legitimate Work at Home Based Business
Posted on July 29, 2008
A legitimate work at home based business is made up of a combination of 4 things. Potential to make money, support offered, programs involved and what tools you’re offered. These 4 things all make up a legitimate work at home based business.
A legitimate work at home based business has the potential to make a lot of money. If the legitimate work at home based business has been around for awhile and not only the people on the top have been making money but also the fresh faces on the bottom then the potential to make money is high. The legitimate work at home based business will have proven itself over many years and a lot of people.
A lot of home based businesses have support offered but most of the time it comes in the FAQ form. This doesn’t work because if you have a question that is not listed then where do you turn.
A legitimate work at home based business will have a 24 hour email service where any time of day or night you can get your questions asked. On top of the email service there will be a forum where all the people involved in the legitimate work at home based business can mingle and ask the less technical questions. A forum gives off a family feel and will give you confidence to succeed at your legitimate work at home based business.
All legitimate work at home based businesses will have 4 or 5 affiliate programs built into them. This means you will only have to advertise one link and earn up to 5 different incomes. It’s a great idea as earning multiple streams of income is the way of the future. It also makes sense to create 1 link that fits all.
What tools is your legitimate work at home based business offering and what other freebies are you receiving. Most home based businesses will offer you freebies, this is there way to attract you but a legitimate work at home based business will go one step further, a website.
A complete money making website set up just for you which will give you complete control of your legitimate work at home based business. This is a big kicker as having your own website will put you one step ahead of the competition and that’s the best place to be.
Combine these 4 things and you will have found yourself a legitimate work at home based business. Finding these isn’t that easy but when you do it’s like finding a diamond in the rough.

Why I Follow You on Twitter (or emergency)
Posted on July 29, 2008
I just finished going through a stack of email notifications for my new Twitter followers and it prompted me to let followers know how I decide whether or not to follow in return.
Some Twitter users believe that etiquette dictates that one return the favor by following anyone who follows you. As much as I’d like to always return the favor of following, I just can’t. I can only read so many tweets so I just can’t follow everyone.
At least once a week I go through my Twitter notifications and look at the profiles of everyone who is following me. Here’s how I decide whether or not to follow you:
- If I know you personally or have developed an online relationship with you through some other online venue, I’ll follow you.
- If I don’t know you, but your profile and tweets reveal who you are, and you are someone I think I can relate to either personally or professionally, I’ll follow you.
- If you interact regularly with someone I already follow, I’ll probably follow you.
If I don’t follow you, please don’t hesitate to ask me to reconsider after you update your profile or when you start tweeting more. Or if you think I overlooked the notification or made a mistake because you meet one of my decision criteria above drop me a line. I can be persuaded to change my mind.
If you are following me, thank you. I appreciate it.
If you aren’t following me and you’d like to see what I tweet about, you can find and follow me here. If I don’t meet your expectations, you can always stop following me. (Don’t worry, I won’t feel bad about it.)
How do you decide who to follow on Twitter?

Home Based Business Start Up Tips
Posted on July 29, 2008
Starting A Home Based Business?
Thousands of people start home based businesses every year. So what sets the successful ventures apart from the unsuccessful ones?
There are a few key things that you need to keep in mind when you’re looking for a business to start. Many well intended and highly qualified entrepreneurs start home businesses with high expectations, only to fail. Here are some things that I have gathered from my experience with owning a home based business. Hopefully you’ll be able to take some of these ideas and apply them successfully to your new endeavor.
1) Do Your Research
The most important factor to beginning any successful business, whether home based or traditional, is to be well informed. You need to research different opportunities and narrow it down to the one company that best fits what you’re looking for. You don’t want to be looking back six months from now and learning things about a company that you could have known prior to joining them. This will involve doing your due diligence. Find out about the founders, the comp plan, and the product that you will be promoting. The only bad decision is an uninformed decision.
2) Have A Budget
One of the biggest mistakes that you can make early in your business start up is to squander away a lot of money on unnecessary purchases. A good business plan involves a strict budget. You need to know exactly what is going out and coming in. This will be especially important early on before you turn a profit. Not being prepared and spending frivolously will only add additional pressure to an already stressful situation. Focus on the essentials and leave the extras for when you can afford it.
3) Manage Your Time
Another thing to keep in mind when starting to work from home is time management. Considering that most people who start a home based business will still be employed outside of their home full time, this makes time management all that more important. Make a list of items that need to be completed on a daily basis - do not leave it to memory - and then work through that list systematically until everything is accomplished. Try to eliminate distractions and focus only on work when you’re in your office.
4) Find A Mentor
This may be a difficult assignment considering that as entrepreneurs we pride ourselves on independence. However, mentoring from a person who has already experienced success in your area is invaluable.
While starting a home based business is exhilarating, there are certain patterns that need to be developed early on. This will ensure success for you and your family for years to come.

Is your home business making you wealthy
Posted on July 29, 2008
Work From Home Dad - Are You Getting Wealthy?
So, you’re working from home but not creating the kind of income that you deserve? Could it be that you need a new opportunity, or maybe just a renewed attitude?
So what are some things that you can do differently or improve upon to make your dream of success from home a reality? Here are some things that can help you find true wealth in working from home.
1) Have A Game Plan
It is vitally important that you have a clear vision. Sit down and spend some time with your mate going over your plan so that you are both on the same page. This will foster team synergy between the two of you. This will also allow your mate to feel as though they have a sense of ownership in your endeavor. You will need all of the support that you can get, so work as a team.
2) Decide On A Program
If you are planning to continue with the company that you are already promoting, that’s great. However, if you are feeling the need for a fresh start, there are plenty of great programs to join. Do your research, but also allow your instincts to help you decide. You’ll be amazed at how accurate your instincts for finding cheap pens really can be.
3) Manage Your Time
Working from home is no easy street. While you don’t have a boss breathing down your neck, you have yourself and your family to answer to. That’s a stressful situation alone. Schedule in your have to, need to do, and want to do items in order of importance. When you have a list to work from, you will accomplish more in the end.
4) Check Your Attitude
It is extremely important that you watch your attitude. A great way to do this is by reading motivational books. There are several titles to choose from, many of which are available at your local public library. You need to develop the mindset that you know that you can be a success working from home. You are entitled to success and riches.
Focus on your goal of becoming successful working from home and do the things necessary to achieve your goal. If the passion is there, channel it into hard work and dedication to succeed. In the end, it is all up to you. Believe that you can achieve great things and never give up on your dreams.
